Kate McClymont

Prior to joining Broadhurst LLC Kate worked as a litigation attorney in New Zealand where she practiced general civil and commercial litigation with particular focus on asset and security advice and realisation, debt recovery and insolvency work.

Since joining Broadhurst LLC in 2009 Kate has continued to practice civil and commercial litigation, acting for financial institutions, local and international corporations as well as private clients. She has significant expertise in commercial and contractual disputes, construction, property and matrimonial dispute resolution and represents private clients in high value personal injury and medical negligence cases.

Kate attained a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from Victoria University of Wellington in 2004 and was called as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2005 and as an Attorney-at-Law in the Cayman Islands in 2009. Kate regularly appears before the Courts and administrative tribunals of the Cayman Islands and is an accredited mediator.
