Broadhurst Attorney appointed to Labour Tribunal

2 May, 2018

Broadhurst are delighted to announce that Brando Rankin has been selected to serve as a member of the Labour Tribunal.

The Labour Tribunal is a statutory body whose administration falls under the Department of Labour and Pensions. It has the remit of  adjudicating complaints brought under the Labour Law by employees or employers including, most commonly, allegations of unfair dismissal, overtime disputes and employment rights.

Having completed his articles with Broadhurst prior being called to the Bar in 2016, Brando has developed extensive expertise in employment and corporate matters. Brando is delighted to have been granted the opportunity to serve the community in such an important role, he said I am thrilled at the prospect of serving as a member of the Labour Tribunal. I do not take the appointment lightly and relish the challenge that comes with the position.”
