Broadhurst LLC participate in second annual STEP Cayman Conference

On 31st January and 1st February 2019, delegates from Broadhurst LLC attended the second annual Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners Cayman conference at the Kimpton Seafire Hotel.
The conference, was an international wealth structuring forum for trust and estate practitioners exploring topical issues pertinent to the trust industry. The keynote addresses were provided by Hon. Minister for Financial Services Tara Rivers and Hon. Justice of the Grand Court Ian Kawaley. Other topics investigated over the two day agenda included recent developments and regulation in the trust industry, as well as foundation companies, the importance of trusts in philanthropy, trust structures incorporating digital assets and how to deal with politically exposed clients. The conference also provided an excellent networking opportunity and discussion forum for like-minded professionals.
Whist only the second annual edition of this conference, the number of delegates had grown significantly since 2018. Such symposiums are critical for best practice, knowledge dissemination and continual development of the professionals who specialize in the industry. Broadhurst LLC are delighted to have two staff members who are accredited members of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
