Broadhurst employees continue to box their way to fitness in collaboration with Cayman Islands Boxing Association. After months of regular training the anticipated physical and mental benefits of fitness are becoming clear. The initiative has also contributed to unforeseen physical benefits as well. Over the course of the last five weeks, Broadhurst employees and volunteers have collaborated to give the national premises a facelift. They have pressure-washed, painted and cleaned their way to what is now a ‘knock-out’ first impression for the D. Dalmain Ebanks Boxing Gymnasium at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex. Broadhurst also sponsored the installation of a new sign for the gymnasium to complete the new look and restore the homage to Mr. Dalmain ‘the founding father of Cayman boxing’, to its former glory.
Kyle Broadhurst, Managing Partner at Broadhurst LLC stated “Our employees love boxing training and we have seen first-hand the great work that the team at the Boxing Association are doing with their youth programmes. Broadhurst LLC are always keen to support Caymanian youth and community initiatives. We even had one of the young national boxing team members intern with our firm. Providing sponsorship towards a more welcoming training environment was something that we were delighted to do.”
